when you're feeling down... organize.

Today, I finally braved getting into my three small "junk drawers" whose contents have hardly been disturbed in the last 7 or more years. I had a waste basket handy with the expectations of throwing much away (I am no pack-rat... although in your eyes, the previous sentence may take away the validity of my statement).

What I found was half junk and half treasure. Old seashells, my sister's beautiful artwork (at age 5), meaningful letters, a wallet and old note from my Grandfather (in his younger years), pictures, and many, many memories. I now have two empty drawers and one brimming with sentimental treasures.

  1. I just cleaned out my junk drawers a few weeks ago, too. Five drawers, though. Eesh. The contents completely covered my bed. But now, it is all organized and somehow being organized just feels better, even when you can't see the inside of the closed drawers.
But, what has you feeling down?

    1. It does indeed feel better. I have to be completely organized externally to be clear-minded it seems. Thanks for sharing Marie :)
It was just a difficult day. Nothing prayer couldn't handle!
